Training for Lawyers on Police Powers and Racial Profiling

As well as psychotherapy and reflective practice, Tamar provides specialised training to lawyers on police powers and racial profiling. Tamar has been working, researching and writing on police powers since 2005. In 2023, Tamar's PhD won the Australian Legal Research Awards Prize for best PhD. Tamar’s workshops brings together her research and experience with the aim of improving and supporting the capacity of defence lawyers to identify and respond to racial profiling and/or other forms of police misconduct in their criminal casework.

Attending one of Tamar’s workshop’s will give you the skills and knowledge you need to effectively challenge unfair and discriminatory policing practices in everyday criminal cases.
